CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — More than five kilos of dried marijuana leaves and five pots of suspected marijuana plants were seized by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and police inside a supermarket parking lot in Bgy. Malhacan, Maycauayan, Bulacan last Thursday.
PDEA3-Bulacan, PDEA-Calabarzon, Bulacan police and Police Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG)-SOU2 jointly conducted the buy-bust operation which also resulted to the arrest of five drug suspects.
In his initial report to PDEA Director General Wilkins M Villanueva, PDEA3 Regional Director Christian O. Frivaldo identified the suspects as Christian San Diego, 34, of Bgy. Duhat, Bocaue Bulacan; Nikki John Tablante, 32, of St. Sto. Niño, Meycauayan, Bulacan; Lhordan Cabat, 31, of Sto. Rosario, Malolos City, Bulacan; John Maurice Clemente, 23, of Bgy. San Vicente, Paombong, Bulacan; and Adler Labiano y Lambinicio, 32, of Bgy. Perez Meycauyan City, Bulacan.
Confiscated were 5.5 kilos of dried marijuana leaves worth P660, 000; five pieces plastic pots of marijuana plants, four wrapped dried marijuana leaves, seed and stalks; two black Ali coffee box containing aluminum foil and dried marijuana leaves, seeds and stalks; the marked money and boodle bills used in the buy-bust; a Nissan Urvan van, and two motorcycles.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against the suspects.
