Player feedback collected throughout Steam Next Fest showed overwhelming positive reception and provided the development team with data to improve gameplay and create new content
SEOUL – July 19, 2022 – The rising underwater adventure game DAVE THE DIVER received extremely positive responses from the Steam community when it launched its demo last June, as MINTROCKET’s latest survey results show. The survey was conducted on those who played through the demo, recording high marks in categories including the overall game concept, quality of gameplay, art, sound and the storyline.
Survey results showed the following:
- Player Satisfaction – Overall global player satisfaction reached 98% positive responses
- Highly Recommended – 96% of global players confirmed they would recommend DAVE THE DIVER to a friend
- Engaging Gameplay –The unique combination of exploring and running a sushi restaurant added to the enjoyment of playing, according to most responses
Player feedback included:
- “Comfortable and challenging game at the same time!”
- “A harmonious combination of sea exploration and sushi restaurant management!”
Alongside collecting demo feedback, MINTROCKET was in direct communication with the community to answer frequently asked questions, address bug fixes and gather additional player opinions. The developers will take that valuable player input to expand DAVE THE DIVER, focusing on fixing reported bugs, improving game quality and adding new content.
