Electrician stabbed by holdupper in San Andres

A 54-YEAR-OLD electrician is now in critical condition at the Ospital ng Maynila after resisting a holdupper who stabbed him in San Andres Bukid, Manila the other day.

Ricardo Pacanza, of 1661 Estrada St., San Andres Bukid, sustained multiple stabwounds in the body while the lone suspect, said to be 30 to 40 yeasrs old, said to be known only though his alias as “Michael Mission,” escaped and is now being hunted down by the police.

A report from the Manila Police District – Sta.Ana Station 6 said the holdup occurred at around 9:30 a.m. on Estrada corner Onyx Streets in San Andres Bukid.

Police said Pacanza was walking along Estrada Street to buy materials he needed for this work when the suspect, who had been tailing him, suddenly pointed a gun to his side, announced a holdup and tried to to grab his cellular phone.

The victim fought the suspect off, angering the latter who stabbed him repeatedly in the body.

Before leaving, the suspect took the victim’s wallet containing P3,700.
