Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna reported that the revenues of the city continue to go up, an indication of the trust being reposed by the public to the present city administration.

At the regular flagraising ceremony, Lacuna also said that the increase in the city’s income is good news for Manilans, since the local government will be able to fund more projects that will redound to the benefit of its citizens.

The mayor thanked the stakeholders and his co-workers, particularly Vice Mayor Yul Servo-Nieto, the city councilors, city officials and whom she cited for having been very supportive of her programs thus making them all succeed.

Lacuna also cited the help coming from the private sector, as she expressed hope that they will not get tired of supporting the local government of Manila.

In her speech, Lacuna also assured that she will give all her strength to serve the people of Manila.

Maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyo,” she said.

Meanwhile, Lacuna congratulated the Manila Police District headed by PBGen. Andre Dizon and all the concerned departments of the city, whose combined efforts helped keep the peace and order in the two major festivals that were observed in the city.

Lacuna cited the orderly and peaceful holding of the Feast of the Black Nazarene on January 9 and the Feast of the Sto. Nino simultaneously celebrated in Tondo Pandacan over the weekend.
