P662K MJ, shabu seized in Angeles City

ANGELES CITY – Some P662,000 worth of shabu were confiscated by policemen here in recent separate anti-illegal drugs operations in Bgys. Claro M Recto and Cutcut here.

Col. Rommel Sta Ana Batangan, city police director, said one alias “Vlad” yielded 4.5 kilos of dried marijuana leaves while four other suspects yielded 18 grams of shabu.

Alias Vlad was arrested in Bgy. Claro M. Recto after selling marijuana to a poseur-buyer. Confiscated from his possession were six bricks of dried marijuana leaves packed in transparent plastic wrap with a DDB value of P540,000 and the P1,000 marked money used in the transaction.

Meanwhile, the buy-bust at Nepo Subdivision, Bgy. Cutcut resulted to the arrest of four suspects identified by the police only as alias Jelai, Mar, Rodolfo and Ryan.

The four were arrested after selling shabu to a poseur-buyer. Confiscated from their possession and control were plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a DDB value of P122,400 and the P500 marked money.

Mandatory witnesses were requested for inventory and onsite marking of evidence in compliance to Sec. 21 of RA 9165. Suspects are facing complaints for violation of Sec 5 and Sec 11 ART II of RA 9165 at Angeles City Prosecutor’s Office.
