CABANATUAN CITY – Two most wanted persons were taken into police custody after the serving of separate arrest warrants against them in Nueva Ecija on Saturday.
In Llanera, provincial police head Col. Leon Victor Rosete said his men collared the town’s number nine most wanted, identified as Cristan Rey Salvador, 38, during manhunt operations conducted in Bgy. Sta. Barbara at 12:20 p.m.
Rosete said the suspect had an outstanding arrest warrant for violation of Republic Act. 9262, or the Anti-Violence against Women and Children Act of 2004 issued on Sept. 16, 2019 by Judge Ariel M. Palce, of the Regional Trial Court Branch 23, in Roxas, Isabela with a bail for his liberty pegged at P72,000.
In Zaragosa, police also nabbed a suspected robber identified as Cristobal Ducusin, 40, alias Abba, construction worker, of Bgy. Sto. Rosario Old.
His arrest was made on the strength of an arrest warrant for robbery issued by Judge Marinel O. Agudo, of the Regional Trial Court Branch 23 in Cabanatuan City with a recommended bail of P70,000 for his temporary liberty.
Meanwhile, in San Jose City, three women caught playing the local card game “tong-its” were arrested during an anti-illegal gambling operation conducted in Bgy. Sto. Tomas at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.
The arrested suspects were identified as Mariz Reyes, 28, Solita Mendoza, 34, and Marissa Valencia, all of said area. They yielded P855 in bet money and other gambling paraphernalia.
