22 law offenders jailed in Bulacan

TWENTY-TWO law offenders, 17 of them said to be involved in illegal drug activities, were arrested by agents of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office in simultaneous anti-crime operations in the province last Tuesday, a report to Police Regional Office 3 director, Brigadier General Rhodel O. Sermonia said yesterday.

Bulacan police director, Colonel Lawrence B. Cajipe said the 17 were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in San Jose del Monte and Meycauayan cities and the municipalities of San Miguel and Obando conducted by local drug enforcement agents.

Recovered from the suspects were 35 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the marked money paid to them by undercover officers.

Cajipe identified the arrested suspects as Ronald Valmonte, Jennifer Soriano, Jaime Ocampo, Cesar Villamero, Arnold Ecebes, Eric del Ayre, Retche Lause, Jon- Jon Carme,  John Paul Berboso, Andrew Llanes, Rowel Bulatao, Jefferson Malang, James Malang, Jerry Gellang, Jeffrey Agustin, Russell Cordovill  and Romualdo Cruz.

Malang was described as a man included in the unified drug watch list of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Philippine National Police.

Cajipe said the five others were arrested in separate manhunt operations in Meycauayan City and San Miguel, Baliwag, Norzagaray and San Ildefonso towns.

He identified the suspects as Ronald Gonzales,30, wanted for acts of lasciviousness in Meycauayan City; Christopher Lazatin,47, wanted for homicide in San Miguel; Rose Tabubuca,35, wanted for child abuse in Baliwag; Marjon Correa,24; wanted for child abuse in Norzagaray; and Perfecto Herrera,71, wanted for an attempted murder in San Ildefonso.
