Shallow Low Pressure Area (SLPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 480 kms east of Catanduanes (13.5°N 129.0°E) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
Forecast: Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming widespread rains over Visayas which may trigger flashflood and landslide. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
